We tested 5 popular characters across two sessions 48 hours apart and found one had been significantly edited by its creator between visits, changing the established persona. Character creation is genuinely fast - we built a functional AI persona in under 4 minutes, compared to 12 minutes for the equivalent process on GirlfriendGPT. For users who want to create rather than consume, that speed matters. Against Character.AI: PolyBuzz allows more mature content and has faster character creation tools. Against JuicyChat: more character variety but less scenario structure and no explicit content. Best for general AI character chat and mild-to-moderate adult roleplay with a generous free usage allowance.
