Here's what we tested in March 2026: HTTPS is present site-wide - that's correct. Age verification is a single click on a confirmation overlay with no actual verification mechanism. The privacy policy references GDPR compliance in vague terms but doesn't specify a data controller, a supervisory authority, or a contact email for data subject requests - all of which are required for genuine GDPR compliance. That's worth flagging specifically because UK GDPR carries real penalties, and a site that says it complies without providing the legally required mechanisms is either not compliant or has legal counsel who wrote the policy to look compliant without being so. Ad behavior was a concern: 3 pop-under windows per session, 1 push notification prompt, and 1 interstitial before video playback. No malicious redirects to flagged domains, which is the one bright spot here.

Billing isn't a concern for regular browsing - XXBrits is free with no account system. No stored payment data, nothing to cancel. Registration doesn't appear required for content access.
