We reviewed MeetMe.com in March 2026 for HTTPS security, account verification, privacy documentation, billing practices, and moderation reputation. TLS is correctly configured. Account creation requires email or social login (Facebook, Google). The privacy policy is detailed and discloses data sharing with advertising partners on the free tier, GPS-level location data collection when location features are enabled, and behavioral profile building for ad targeting. That location data collection is the non-obvious risk - MeetMe defaults location features to on during account setup, and we'd recommend toggling these off immediately. MeetMe processes virtual currency purchases and optional subscription billing through app store payment processors, which provides Apple Pay / Google Pay protections.

Cancellation goes through your iOS or Android app store subscription manager - not through MeetMe directly.
