We reviewed Intimate.app in March 2026 for HTTPS integrity, account security, privacy policy scope, billing practices, and data deletion procedures. The HTTPS connection is solid. Account creation requires email plus password - no social login option, which is actually a privacy positive. The privacy policy acknowledges that conversation data is processed to train and improve the AI, that third-party sub-processors have access to your data, and that data may be retained even after account deletion for a defined period. That last point - post-deletion retention - is what lowers the score. We couldn't independently verify how long that retention window actually is. Here's the thing: for a product built around personal emotional conversations, data retention after deletion isn't a minor footnote.
